		<description>Dear Swan,

Epidermal growth factors are a type of human growth factor. Based on what I know now (please keep in mind that I am still only a student), while topical application of human growth factors has shown some promise in the building of collagen, researchers remain excited at the future promise of using microporation, electrophoresis, iontophoresis, and/or liposomal delivery systems to deliver these growth factors into the deeper dermis of the skin, where collagen is actually being produced. Until that time comes, however, growth factors look promising, but have not realized their full potential effects (positive or otherwise) for the skin.

Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Nicki</description>
