Hi Monica, I have tried numerous skin lightener. I have also tried Triluma, and you know what it worked for a while. But once u stop using it, the pigmentation surface again. Meaning that the problem under the skin is never solved. At the moment, I am using kojic soap and cream. Not sure if its working yet. Cos I just started using a couple of days ago. My friend recommended me and told me its good. But to help it work better, I am taking glutathione capsules. It will help my skin to whiten overall, and it will help with the elimination of pigmentation. Thats what i want. Email me if you like to know more. Bye

I went to my derm because I'm going through early menopause and my melasma is terrible. The pigmentation was so bad even with foundation and concealer my face looked like it had dirt on it. Anyway, earlier I consulted a different Doctor about getting Fraxel lasering I invested in alterative skin care creams anyway at my appointment my derm suggesseted a cream called NEUTRADERM HQRA+CREAM. It is a miracle worker. My complexion is not as clear & perfect as it was before menopause but I have been using it for only two and a half weeks. My skin looks so much better I feel I don't need a fraxel treatment. I've been told people who have tried Triluna and didn't have good results tried this product and their skin reacted positivly. It is cheaper than Triluna it cost me about $80 and I should inform you it caused a lot of peeling and redness but it is worth it. I have hope. Has anyone else out there tried this cream?

[...] 4. Caudalie Vino Perfect Day Perfecting Cream SPF 15 ($68.00, Sephora.com). According to a 2002 study in Nutraceuticals and Food, the Viniferine ingredient in this product does inhibit tyrosinase activity, which will help hyperpigmentation (i.e., dark spots, discolorations, pregnancy mask, age spots, etc.) It also contains sunscreen for the delicate eye area, which I absolutely love. Unfortunately, Viniferine (a stilbenoid/plant extract) has not been compared in any peer-reviewed scientific studies with proven lightening agents like hydroquinone. Still, for women who are concerned about use of hydroquinone, this might make a possible alternative, as will a number of other treatments. [...]

Do you think Triluma is okay to use on someone who is olive skin toned? Native American and European. Kojic acid burns my skin.
