I started using pomegranate oil - 8 drops in 1+ ounces of moisturizer around my eyes. Could not believe the results,
deep crow's feet and damaged area under left eye socket visibly and greatly improved - I'm plumping up! Now I have made up a cream, 4 ounces with 8 drops pomegranate oil, and have also added other actives: centella, pomegranate extract, lutein, silymarin, boswellia, and betulinic acid.

I am still getting remarkable results. Needless to say, adding my own actives probably gives me more of them than in any purchased product. I do a lot of research on this skin business, and try to explain elastase, mmp's, tmp's, sun and smoking damage to all my friends. We are all eating lots of greens, and I tell them, "Great". There's greater sun protection in eating your lutein and putting it on your skin. Happy to hear that pomegranate may offer that same advantage by ingesting it and applying it topically.

Thank you for your site, I return to it so often.

ps I smoked for 50 years and need all the help I can get.

I've heard that pomegranate extract has been used in Asia as a topical supplement too.

Thanks for your research!
