Nicki,

Have you tried the SkinCeuticals retinol products? I currently use the 0.5 cream in the evenings and have seen a slight reduction in developing wrinkles. Do you find the Green Cream products superior to SkinCeuticals when it comes to retinol?

Thanks!

Very informative blog!!!!!

Can i ask is it possible to combine the use of retin a and vitamin c together (cos it seems u r using them separately)? And how old is it advisable before i start using vitamin c, retin a and all the "peptides" skincare? is it alright to start young? i'm currently using 20% vitamin c and 5% vitamin e cream with retin a 0.025% and i'm 28. No significant wrinkles, just fine lines ard the eyes and light laugh lines. Can u advise me?

I was just researching the same thing as Zahra! I bought a sample pack of c e ferulic which arrived yellow in color (oxidized?) so I looked online for more info and found several sites discussing this issue. Here is a link to one I found very interesting. http://www.treatment-skincare.com/Skinceuticals/Serums/C-E-Ferulic/Samples-Discussion.html

You don't seem to have any day moisturizer (unless Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch SPF 85 Sunscreen is a moisturiser/SPF). I find that I need to apply additional moisturizer over CE Ferulic as my skin feels taught without it.

I am wondering about the C E Ferulic--I have heard many great things about this product, but isn't it in unstable packaging? From what I have gathered, ascorbic acid is unstable and easily oxidized; therefore, every time one opens the bottle, the serum is exposed to air and frequent openings turn the serum ineffective. Are there any other Vitamin C/E serums out there that are stable?

How many drops of the Phloretin and C, E, Ferulic do you use, and do you wait for a time after applying the Phloretin before you apply the C, E, Ferulic?
