hi! i dont really use many products for skin but i wish i could try something new. Daily Olay lotion and some olive oil is what i put on my face… My skin is very sensitive and i have break outs often- i hope exederm will help me with these problems

i hope that i am responding in the right place! this product looks fabulous for me…i have super sensitive skin with rosacea and both the cleanser and moisturizer look great! i’m currently using mir cleanser from england, which is truly fabulous, but wildly expensive. the exoderm cleanser looks gentle enough that i have to try it….and much more affordable!
the moisturizer appears from the ingredients to be the pure white cream i’ve been looking for forever. i currently use emu oil, or fancy vegetable oils (argan, jojoba blends, and so forth) which do not irritate too much, but i could use more moisture and less oil.
fingers crossed, i am hoping exoderm is the product for me.

I currently use hydrocortisone valerate for severe eczema outbreaks and a bevy of moisturizers for daily upkeep. I’d love to try anything to try and keep the dermatitis under control on my hands.

Hi Nicki! I use Avon Solutions Refined White Cleanser, Toner and Day Cream with SPF 20. The products must be suitable for sensitive skin and do not clog pores because I am prone to redness and acne. Exederm might be good for me because I have very sensitive skin. I got a score of 45 for sensitivity in Dr. Baumann’s skin test.

By the way, Paula Begoun just reviewed SKINCEUTICALS C E Ferulic Combination Antioxidant Treatment. Her rating was great$$$. Thank you!

I have atopic dermatitis and am always searching for something that will not provoke another bout of eczema. I’ve tried most mainstream creams I can find in pharmacies and in stores, but they will only work for a week or two, or make my skin even worse. I really believe that the Exederm system will work for me as I will be avoiding any possible irritants. Please tell me that the contest is open for international readers to, as I live in Greece and there are not many chances for finding creams that do not contain irritants and are not full of cortisone.
    Thank you!

Hello I think this would be helpful to me as I was just dx’d with Eczema of my lips and nipples and I honestly don’t know what to use other than Westcort!!!

Hi, I am currently using Topix Non-Drying cleansing lotion and NuSkin Moisture Mist for skin care. I have extremely sensitive skin with seborrheic dermatitis and frequent acne/clogged pores. Exederm sounds wonderfully simple, and a refreshing change from all the organic/botanical hype (my skin does not agree with most botanicals). This sounds absolutely perfect for an uber sensitive skin like myself.

    Hey there,
I currently use a range of Avene products including their Cleanance soap-free face wash, thermal water for refreshment throughout the day, and Avene Cleanance-AC lotion for sensitive skin. I also use La Roche Posay Anthelios 20. I am acne prone and get painful contact dermatitis when I use products with strong acne fighting ingredients which leaves my skin recovering for weeks, so I would be thrilled to try these products since they are designed for people like me.

I love your site. Thank you.

Hi, I currently use neutrogena cleanser, retina-a, and a suncreen 45 because I have super pale (I can’t get ANY tan at all) sensitive skin. The retina-a just makes it more so. I would love to try something soothing for my skin!

I am currently hooked on Natura Bissee cleanser, toner and glyco peel. Don’t know how much longer I can afford them, I also have eczema on my arms and shoulders so would love to try this.

    hi Nicki,

    Thankyou

Hi Nicki! I use Dr. Murad’s refreshing cleanser, perfecting day cream, perfecting night cream, and Clinique’s citiblock suncreen spf 25. Exederm might be good for me because I have extremely sensitive skin that’s prone to redness. Thank you!

  17. Kelvin on Thursday 16, 2008

    I’m using the following products…
Facial Wash: Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash by Body Shop
Toner: Soothing Facial Toner by Simple
Sunscreen: Skin Balancing Daily Mattifying Lotion SPF 15 by Paula’s Choice
Exfoliant: Exfoliating 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Gel by Paula’s Choice
Acne Treatment: Acnederm Medicated Lotion by Ego Pharmaceuticals and 2.5% Benzoyl Pperoxide by Daniel Kern

My skin is sensitive and prone to acne, especially after a shave. So I currently use Skin Relief Treatment by Paula’s Choice to soothe any redness. Exederm incorporates 1% Hydrocortisone seems more efficacious in minimizing skin flares than aspirin. The absolute avoidance of all potential irritants is an extra bonus to look forward.

Hey Nicki! I have a very small skincare routine right now, and I’m starting to rethink it. I wash my face with a basic Neutrogena anti-acne wash, but I’m not sure if that is necessary since I rarely get acne – it might even dry my face out? Unsure?

I moisturize with Eucerin’s “Intensive Repair Lotion” after showering and throughout the day, sometimes supplementing with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula, and Ferulic SkinCeuticals Combination Antioxidant.

I do have pretty bad eczema, especially around the elbows and shins in fall and winter, and dry skin overall – so I’m always searching for products to help me moisturize! I also have sensitive skin that refuses to tolerate well lotion with fragrances. Exederm therefore looks like a good selection.

    Hi:

Thank you for all the wonderful reviews and tips on your website. I use your site and the Skin-Type Solution by Baumann as my skincare guides.

I currently use Cetaphil Anti-bacterial Cleanser (day & night), Lancome Absolut Moisturizer w/SPF 30 (day) and I alternate between Neutrogena’s Anti-Wrinkle Retino Moisturizer and Biotherm’s Dry Skin Moisturizer (night). I also use a gel exfoliator twice a week.

I think I’ll benefit from Exederm because my skin is sensitive, prone to red bumps and my pores clog easily from oily products. Also, the Neutrogena Retinol has been causing some problems for me (bumps on my face, eczema-like dry spots) so I’ve resorted to only using it every other night. I want to discontinue the Retinol but then I’m not sure what anti-aging product to use since AHA’s also seem to cause red bumps on my face.

    Thank you!

Hi, thanks for running such a great site! I currently wash with Paula’s Choice one-step cleanser for normal/dry skin, and at night I often use Ambi’s exfoliating cleanser. For day cream, I use Clean & Clear’s Soft oil-free moisturizer. At night I use a couple prescription products. I have suffered from eczema my whole life and get fairly frequent flare-ups on my face. I also get occasional acne, so I would love to try Exederm as a gentle and guaranteed non-irritating way to hydrate and heal my skin. Thank you!!

  23. Devan on Thursday 16, 2008

I just discovered your blog and love it! Right now, I use Collective Wellbeing clay cleanser, SkinCeauticals Phloretin CF, Acnomel sulfur cream, and Shiseido spf 55 lotion. I turned 30 this year and am seeing the first signs of rosacea (my mom also has it.). I am on the lookout for a simple skincare line that doesn’t contain irritants. Exederm sounds as though it could be a good match for my red, bumpy face!

  24. Devan on Thursday 16, 2008

Hi! My skin gets flakey and red with most skin care products. I’ve been searching for a simple, effective skin care regime for my sensitive skin, and stumbled upon your blog. The Exederm products sound as though they could be a good match for my skin (which is prone to acne AND eczema.)

Currently, I use Rhonda Allison Green Tea Cleanser, SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF, Shiseido spf 55 lotion, and Acnomel sulfur cream.

Oops, didn’t mean to post twice. My first comment wasn’t showing up for some reason.

  26. yuko on Thursday 16, 2008

I use clinique cleanser and a prescription moisturizer for my super sensitive skin with eczema. I’m trying to find a non-prescription moisturizer and I’ve tried many ofthe moisturizers that are supposedly good for eczema but nothing works too well for me. I’m hoping exederm will work.

  27. Christina on Thursday 16, 2008

Hi! I actually want this for my boyfriend because he has eczema and uses lotion to help it, but I don’t think he’s found anything that truly works.

I hope that this will help with the irritation, because I think the flareups are making him self-conscious…even though I don’t care about them=/

  28. Casie on Thursday 16, 2008

I am currently using CeraVe cleanser and moisturizer. It seems to be working okay, but I am still a little dry and flaky. I have very sensitive skin and lots of redness on my cheeks and chin. I think these products would work for me.

  29. Maria on Thursday 16, 2008

    Hello Nicki!
I currently use Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SX SPF 15 & Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Moisturizer. I think Exederm products would be good for me because I have very sensitive skin & eczema.
By the way I love your blog!

  30. J on Thursday 16, 2008

I might want to try out Exederm. In my late 20s, I have exhausted all ways to treat these small, irritated acne flare ups I get along my jaw line and cheeks. Although my skin tends to get oily, it is very sensitive and most products exacerbate the problem.

Lately I’ve turned to a combination of Cetaphil and a Japanese soap from DHC to take off makeup. At night I use Calendula cream from Jurlique, because it is soothing, 100% natural, and non-irritating. So far, so good, but it is a hassle getting items from various vendors. Maybe the 3-step Exederm system might be good for me.

  31. Dana on Thursday 16, 2008

Hello Nicki! I currently use Boscia products on my face and Burt’s Bees and Avalon Organics on my body. I have very sensitive skin (always have) and therefore, within the past year I have tried to make a switch to more natural products that are free of sulfates, parabens, and fragrances. However, I still frequently struggle with eczema patches on my face, arms, and legs so I think that the Exederm line of products sound perfect to me and I hope to win the chance to try them (plus I am a full time graduate student working on my PhD so anytime I have the opportunity to try a product for free it is a big help since money is tight at times :)

  32. Charlotte Slayton on Thursday 16, 2008

Hi. I would like to enter for the chance to win the exederm. I currently use Cetaphil for washing and Lubriderm lotion too. I have over many years tried many products and they help or work for awhile but then things go back to being dry, itchy, and/or splotchy. The Doctors always say it is dermatitis or eczema or non specific. I have been searching for a product without all the junk I know irritates my skin…so far from what I have read about Exederm it doesn’t have any of the junk. I can’t wait to try it! I am still searching for hair products that do not have all that junk in them too. Let me know if you have any ideas on that.
    Thanks Charlotte

  33. Kelvin on Thursday 16, 2008

I currently use Skin Balancing Daily Mattifying Lotion SPF 15 in the day and Paula’s Choice BHA Gel 2% at night, with Daniel Kern’s 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide for acne treatment.

Exederm looks promising because I have sensitive skin with occasional breakouts. On top of that, I have to shave everyday. Now that can be really irritating to my skin…

(Hopefully, this entry will not get mysteriously deleted again…)

My physician diagnosed me with excema on my eyelids and scalp. I use cortisone, but I still get flare-ups a few times a year.
