FutureDerm.com Editor Nicki Zevola Writes for DermMatters, a Publication by the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology

Recently I wrote about the evolving interests of dermatology residents for DermMatters, a blog edited by James J. Gormley, an editor of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD).  In the article, I discuss dermatology residents’ evolving interests and qualifications, as well as the fact that dermatology residents are not necessarily in it for the “better pay, more autonomy and more-controllable hours,” as once suggested by the New York Times.

A special thanks to Dr. Inderjit Chabra, M.D. Ph.D., a second-year dermatology resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), as well as other dermatology residents who were interviewed for the article.  I also thank Mr. Gormley for the opportunity to write for the blog, as well as for assistance in the editing process.
