I had the same problem you did, and I used skinceuticals CE Ferulic to help with my pigmentation. It takes a little while to notice anything, and it is gradual. I would NOT suggest the Even Better line from Clinique, I made the mistake of trying this and finding out too late that ingredients were nothing but low concentrations of glycolic acid and vitamin C, too low to make a difference. I tried Proactive but it was too drying, other drugstore brands (that used to work until my skin worsened) and even went on a prescription for a month for skinceuticals-pigment (i hated it).
