Last year I fell in love with the Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Stick line. They’ve got a matte finish, so they’re a nice contrast from a lot of the super sparkly lipsticks that I own. They’re work appropriate for the business professional environment, so they kept me from going crazy in a conservative place. They’ve got at least 20 shades, of which I own 14.

I do love these lip sticks, or I wouldn’t have purchased so many! I feel like it’s a great multi-tasker. It works well to line and fill in the lips with a creamy matte color. It is slightly tingly, but I don’t really notice any visible plumping on my lips unless I apply a gloss on top.
These are more on the dry side so I recommend prepping the lip with moisturizer before you apply them. These are very pigmented and opaque in my opinion.
I feel that the matte finish lends itself to making the lips look larger, especially with the way they cling to the skin.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for matte lipsticks that are easy to work with. I like having a lip liner and lipstick in one! My only complaint is that it seems like .03 oz is a TINY amount for the price, but since you don’t have to sharpen, you’re not losing any product. Your lips shape them as you apply them through repeated use.
What do you think of the Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Sticks? Do you own any? Do you see any shades you like?
Products purchased by me. All opinions are my own.
