Gilded Peacock Tutorial with Chequered Lily Apothecary

By Phyrra — March 15, 2013

Happy Friday! I’ve got an easy tutorial for you with colors from Chequered Lily Apothecary, an indie company. I used a rich lime green, velvety blue teal and aged gold.

How to Achieve the Look
1. Apply UD Walk of Shame to the browbone, then pat Chequered Lily Apothecary Tart on the inner lid.
2. Add Mrs. Peacock to the outer lid and outer lower lash line. Then softly blend Cursed Treasure into the crease.
3. Line the lower lash line and deepen the crease with The Labyrinth.
4. Line the waterline with Nyx Turquoise Blue. Highlight under the brows with Delicate. Add mascara.

I really love Mrs. Peacock, Tart and Cursed Treasure. I think they work well together. I don’t typically pair gold with a lime green, but the teal blue seems to bring it all together. What do you think of these colors?

Have you tried Chequered Lily Apothecary?

This is simply GORGEOUS! I’m not sure how it would go over with the peanut gallery if I tried this (my daughter would probably say something smarty-pants-like) but it is beautiful and so very artistic!! I’m inspired – might have to try this, regardless!

    Thanks for sharing :-)
