Hi there! Happy Friday :)
Today I’ve got a tutorial for you with the brand new Jesse’s Girl JulieG Frosted Gum Drops Nail Polishes. Jesse’s Girl products are available at Rite Aid or sold online at Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics. If you spend over $20, you get free shipping. Jesse’s Girl polishes are 3.99 each. They are a cruelty-free brand.

Jesse's Girl JulieG Frosted Gum Drops in Tangerine Dream and Crushed Candy

Before you begin, prep your nails by using nail polish remover to clean all the oils off of your nails, push your cuticles back (if you typically do that), and then apply your favorite base coat.

I used Cult Nails Get It On Base Coat.

Next, apply Jesse’s Girl JulieG Tangerine Dream to about 2/3 of your nail. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

2.
Then, apply Jesse’s Girl JulieG Crushed Candy to the last 1/3 of the nail. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

3.
Now, take a makeup sponge wedge and dab Tangerine Dream onto it and Crushed Candy right below Tangerine Dream. Then dab that onto your nail. This will soften the line between the colors and create a gradient effect.

4.
After you’re happy with the gradient, take a stiff angled makeup brush, dip it in nail polish remover, and use that to clean up the edges around your nails.

I’m a fan of the textured polishes from Jesse’s Girl and JulieG. Tangerine Dream is my favorite shade! If you want to check out the rest of the colors in the collection, see my review of the Frosted Gum Drops.
Love it or leave it? Would you wear it?
