About The Owner
My name is Nicki Zevola, and I am a first-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dermatology is my passion, and I love to learn as much as about it as I can. I hope that my blog will give me the opportunity to regularly learn and share my findings with others, and to learn from their input as well.
In my spare time, I like reading, running, Pilates, amateur woodworking, Steelers football, comedies, games, trivia, and spending time with family and friends.
My blog will be edited six times or more per week (except during holidays and final exam weeks), so please check back often!

About the Articles
My articles are based primarily on research from dermatology-based textbooks and scientific research journals. More emphasis is placed on published research studies in scientific research journals than studies released exclusively in brochures and advertisements, because scientific research journals are subject to extensive peer review.
Occasionally, opinions will be given about a product by myself or another blogger, usually from personal experience after using a product. I try to keep personal opinions to a minimum on the site, and add them only when I think it would be helpful.
