The Hello Naturally Friendly line is a cool new twist on oral cleanliness. I like the variety of different toothpastes they make for different problems someone may have or any specifics a person may want to target. I’ve been into charcoal lately, so those are the products I tried. It was kind of cool brushing and rinsing with the charcoal, but I’m not sure what it is about the black color. It’s kind of taboo-looking but I find it very detoxifying and clean. The products are pretty natural and healthy which I’m noticing as I get older is becoming more and more important to me, both in my food and my health and beauty products. They’re peroxide-free and alcohol-free and I’ve never used a toothpaste or mouthwash that was free of both of these ingredients. I thought these chemicals were necessary for cleanliness, or at least that clean feeling that I’m used to. I’m learning that that’s not true.
I don’t use mouthwash as often as I should because the unflavored, sugar-free ones are usually disgusting. I like this one as it doesn’t give me that “about to vomit” feeling Listerine does, which I take as a win.
All in all, I really like the Hello brand. I think I’m going to sign up for the subscription so that I won’t have to think about it every 3 months (or let’s be honest, when I remember). It’s also pretty cool that the subscription to the toothpaste comes with a new toothbrush every time. Since it’s very likely that once you run out of toothpaste, it’s time to switch out your toothbrush as well. Plus, some of these other toothpastes look interesting; I’d like to try them without having to hunt around for the one I want.
