This is my first time reviewing Lime Crime products. I have had very strong negative feelings about the brand but after watching the brand come out with new products and attempt to turn their image around, I decided to give them a chance.
Not too long ago I had the opportunity to try the Limecrime Les Desserts d’ Antoinette Nail Polish Collection. This was my first time ever trying a Limecrime product. I had heard very good things about the nail polish.
$5.99 per bottle. Limecrime is cruelty-free.
I like the square, frosted glass bottle with the purple unicorn logo. It’s cute. The bottles feel very solid.
Warm, wafery off-white. Opaque in 2 coats. Great for doing accents, half-moon and french tip manicures!
Creamy beige. Reminds me a bit of the inside of a malted milk ball. I like this color and I need to try it as a base shade for a leopard mani.
Vibrant, pastel pink reminiscent of a strawberry milkshake from your favorite diner.
It does remind me a bit of a strawberry milkshake.
Crema De Limon
Creamy, pastel yellow.
My least favorite of the bunch. I found this color the most difficult to work with.
Peaches n Cream
Bright neon peach orange. This is my favorite color in the collection.
Neon lime green.
I really like this color! It’s bright. Unfortunately, it stains like crazy, even with a base coat beneath it.
Once in a Blue Mousse
Robin’s egg blue. A color fit for a princess!
I really like this sky blue and it leans a tiny bit turquoise to me, which is probably why I like it so much.
Pretty, creamy lavender.
I feel like the nail polish formula overall was very easy to work with. Crema De Limon was the most difficult and I think that’s because it’s a yellow. Yellows are notoriously a pain. Pastelchio stained like crazy, no matter what base coat I used. I really loved Peaches and Cream, as well as Once in a Blue Mousse and Milky Way. If I had to choose just one polish to pick up from this collection it would be Peaches and Cream. I think this is a solid nail polish collection and I was impressed with it.
